Get answers to common questions about our birthday parties

Where are you located?

We are located at 3600 Chamberlain Lane, Suite 210, inside the Jefferson Trade Center between 84 Lumber and the Ford Truck Plant. After you pull into the Jefferson Trade Center entrance, take the very first right and drive around until you see us on your left (past the speed bump). Our office windows face Westport Road/Wal-Mart.

How many kids may attend the party?

The number of kids is entirely up to you. The basic party price covers 10 children, which includes your birthday child. For each additional child who attends, add $7.50.

What does Louisville Gymnastics provide?

We provide a party room, coaches, a hostess, use of a refrigerator and microwave, and lots of fun for the children. Any other accessories will be the parent's responsibility. Please see the next "What do I need to bring?" question for a list of common items to remember to bring!

What do I need to bring?

You need to bring the food, cake, drinks, plates, napkins, candles, matches, forks, spoons, knives, spatula, etc.

How much is a Birthday party?

Our parties are $150.00. The basic party price covers 10 children, which includes your birthday child. For each additional child who attends, add $7.50.

How do we pay for the party?

We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express, and Discover credit cards, debit cards and cash. We do not accept checks. We typically collect a deposit fee of $50 and would use the same credit card to charge the balance of the party, unless otherwise specified by you. You may use a different card or pay in cash if you wish.

What should the kids wear?

Typically, both boys and girls wear shorts or sweatpants and t-shirts. However, if the girls prefer they may wear a leotard. Just make sure that the clothes worn are comfortable (e.g. no dresses) since the kids will be doing a lot of playing.

Does Louisville Gymnastics provide invitations?

Not at this time. We are, however, looking into this idea.

Can we decorate the party room?

Of course! Themed tablecloths, balloons, streamers, etc. are both perfectly acceptable and encouraged to make the experience more personal for your child.

How early can we arrive to start setting up?

We ask that you arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your start time. Our hostess will be there to assist you with anything that you need at that time.

How many coaches will be supervising the party?

We typically have 2 coaches to conduct the party for you as well as a hostess to help you in setting up, serving, and cleaning up.

Should we tip the coaches? How much?

Tipping is not required. However, if you would like to offer a monetary gift to the coaches and hostess for providing you with an awesome party, it would be much appreciated. The tip amount is left to your discretion.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel the party up to two weeks before the party date to receive a full refund of your deposit.

What if my child is sick on the day of the party? Do we get to reschedule or get a refund?

We understand that kids do get sick or circumstances beyond our control do happen. (i.e. funerals, bad weather) In this event, we will work with you to reschedule the party for another day or refund your deposit.

Can we have pizza delivered to the gym?

Sure! This is your party and you may have whatever food you want for your guests. Many of the major pizza places that deliver know where Louisville Gymnastics is located. It is advisable to have the pizza arrive approximately 15 minutes before the children are dismissed to go the party room (45 mintues into your party).

How long are the parties?

Our parties are 1 hour and 45 minutes in length. You will get a full hour in the gym for organized play with the coaches and 30 minutes in the party room for your festivities.

Can the children go out to the gym and play while the party is being set up?

Unfortunately, they may not. This is for their safety as well as a courtesy to other parties that may be wrapping up. At the appropriate start time the coaches will gather the children that are there and take them out to begin the party.

Are the children allowed back in the gym after the cake and ice cream?

Unfortunately not. There will likely be another party in the gym at this time. Each party gets exclusive use of the gym for 1 hour.

Can the adults go out into the gym?

Yes. However, there are some guidelines. Adults are welcome to stay and watch their children at the party. They may even video and take photos. Adults MAY NOT be on the gymnastic equipment, including the trampolines.
